Forty plus minutes of UNI-RAP - it’s enough to make you laugh!

Now in the last stages of post production, we have a feast of footage from a bold new student production made in our Bath Road TV Studio in Bristol.

In late November 2012, a number of talented student actors and film/video makers from both Bath Spa University, UK, and Columbia College, Chicago USA, got together and had a whale of a time making this show (and learning things along the way).

Actually it was built into the curriculum and is a venture into new territory for Creative Media Practice (Department of Film and Media Production). It also represents a model, or springboard even, for further cross-curricular and international collaborations. 30+ of our year 2 CMP students, together with student actors and comedians from Performing Arts, and with contributions from music, creative writing and other areas, produced and stirred all the ingredients together for this comedic sketch show. Extra input, including lashings of humour, were added by our American vistors (four students from Columbia College), who not only provided some serious (i.e. funny) talent – see for yourself – but other production and design skills.
