Bath Spa University has a long experience of engaging with all types of organisations in the local, regional and national business communities, including the commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors.  In developing our employer engagement activities, we recognise that the knowledge and skills gained by our students are more effective the more they are directly related to their chosen career direction. Our aim is for our graduates to develop sustainable and fulfilling careers, rather than ‘just a job’.

Industry-informed degree programmes coupled with a range of personal and professional development opportunities enrich the university experience for our students and support the transition to their careers. Through our focused relationships with employers, our students are accessing work placements, internships, live projects, mentoring, visiting lectures, career development opportunities and industry advice.
