Student Representatives' Committee
AQSC approved the establishment of a Student Representatives Committee in December 2007 and the first meeting was held in April 2008.

Terms of Reference
A quorum shall be at least half the number of members plus one.
Frequency of Meetings:
Meetings shall normally be held at least three times during the course of the academic year. Additional meetings may be arranged at the request of the President, Students' Union, or Head of Quality Management. Dates for meetings in 2010/11 are:

- Thursday 26 January 2012
- Thursday 29 March 2012
All meetings begin at 10am and will normally be held at Newton Park, Main House.
Authority:
The committee is authorised by AQSC to conduct any activity within its terms of reference. The committee is able to secure the attendance of non-members with relevant expertise or experience if it considers this necessary, normally in consultation with the Head of Quality Management.
Duties:
- To advise AQSC on the implications for students of the outcomes from university quality assurance procedures, including external examiner reports;
- To advise AQSC on the outcomes of the National Student Survey and any similar measure of student satisfaction;
- To advise on any other matter that may be referred to the committee by AQSC.
