Bath Spa University is sponsoring the 'Bath Startup Weekend 2012' an event for all aspiring entrepreneurs which is taking place from 8 to 10 June at the Bath Innovation Centre in Bath. Throughout the weekend visitors can get hands-on experience and expert advice about how to develop their ideas and concepts for various commercial sectors.
Adam Powell, Bath Spa University’s Head of Employability said: "Bath Spa University supports creativity, culture and enterprise and this event is a way to help our students and graduates learn more about how to turn their ideas into viable business opportunities and become entrepreneurs."
The University actively promotes opportunities for enterprise across all subject areas. A key part of this is the continuing development of strong links with business which gives students the opportunity to gain relevant experience and helps them achieve success in their chosen career.
