Courses for International Students
Bath Spa University offers a wide range of study options.
You can study full degrees at undergraduate, postgraduate or research level.
You can also choose from a range of short-stay programmes, including Study Abroad for one semester or for a full year, or a Summer School programme.
If you need to improve your English language before you begin your studies, you can take a Pre-sessional English Language programme
Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Honours; BA, BSc)
Bachelor’s honours degrees are three year duration.
Successful graduates are awarded a BA (hons) or BSc (hons), depending on your subject. You can choose a single honours, specialised honours or combined honours award. The start date is September. For information on undergraduate degrees go to our Undergraduate Course Finder.
Postgraduate Taught (Master’s; MA, MSc, MMus)
Master’s degrees are one year duration. Successful graduates are awarded a MA, MSc or MMus degree, depending on your subject. The start date is October, with some programmes having both October and February start date. For information on postgraduate degrees go to Postgraduate Course Finder.
Postgraduate Research (MPhil, Phd)
Bath Spa University offers excellent and innovative research degrees across all of our academic schools. There is particular research strength in: Creative Writing; Communication; Cultural and Media Studies; Art and Design; History; Education. Study Abroad - Semester or Year Abroad
Our Study Abroad programmes gives you the opportunity to select a range of credit-bearing modules. You study alongside regular full-time students and enjoy the best of British university life and culture. Summer Schools
