How Do I Apply?

Bath Spa University welcomes applications from students from across the world. 
We are committed to providing a simple and effective application process and our dedicated staff can help you every step of the way. 

Before you make your application you should check the academic, English language and financial requirements for your course.
You should then follow the application procedure for your chosen study option.

Before you apply - all applicants

1 - Academic requirements
You will need to met the University's general academic entry requirements, plus any subject requirements of you chosen course.

2 - English language requirements
You will need to meet the English language entry requirements.

You may be able to take a Pre-sessional English language course before your Bachelors or Masters degree, for full details go to Pre-sessional English 

3 - Financial commitment
You need to understand and meet the financial commitment of study in terms of tuition fees, living costs and payment terms. For further information, go to International Fees and Funding 

Application procedures

Undergraduate (Bachelors)
You can apply for an undergraduate course in two ways:
1) You can apply directly to the university using the Taught Programmes Application form. The application pack includes full instructions and there is no application fee. Please contact international@bathspa.ac.uk for an application pack.
2) You can apply using the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) online system. There is an application fee payable to UCAS. 

Postgraduate (Masters)
You apply direct to the university using the Taught Programmes Application form. The application pack includes full instructions and there is no application fee. 

Postgraduate Research (MPhil, PhD)
You apply direct to the university through the Research Office. For more information and the application pack go to Bath Spa University Research Office.

Other programmes
To apply for our Study Abroad (semester or year long programmes), Erasmus, Exchange or Summer School programmes, go to the special web pages.

Bath Spa University works with a number of overseas representatives across the world. Our representatives can support you throughout the admissions process including application guidance, visa counselling, pre-departure briefings and travel arrangements.
