Once you’ve received an unconditional offer, you will begin to have more contact with the university. You will be contacted by Student Housing to arrange specific accommodation requirements and you will also be given pre-departure information.

Student Housing will give you an arrival date so make sure your flights are booked to coincide with that date.

You will be invited to an orientation day to meet with staff and other international students at the university, including an open top bus tour of the City of Bath. This is a great way to meet new people and is usually included in the itinerary. Make sure you bring your camera!

Whether you are an exchange student or a full time international student, you will be invited to the university’s freshers’ fair, hosted by the student union. Many stalls offer freebies and this will be an opportunity to sign up to all sorts of clubs to meet new people. The international relations unit should also have a stall during this event, so drop in and see us.

After freshers’ week, we have induction week, where you will be inducted on your academic course. This will give you a better idea of what your course entails and what we expect from students.
