Marta Piqué Nolla - Creative Writing, Education and English Literature
(Erasmus+ undergraduate)

Why did you choose Bath Spa University?
I heard about Bath Spa University because some of my friends lived this experience the year before. They just had positive and inspiring words to describe the University, so their opinions about the University really inspired me to start looking for this fantastic place. I found that the location was amazing, that it is a reputable University, I also  heard that the atmosphere was really nice and that the education system, teachers and students were so familiar and they were always pleased to help if you had any doubts. What finally convinced me to choose this University was the Open day in June, 7th. That day I told my parents 'I want to study here!'

What attracted you to the course?
I've always loved what I'm studying. I remember myself looking for more information about the course and discovering that the aspects, contents and ideas we were going to deal with were fascinating. What's more, when I came to the Open Day and I saw some of the teachers talking about their courses I realized of how good and interesting they could be.

How would you describe Bath Spa University in three words?
Astonishing, inspiring, reliable.

What are you hoping to do with your degree?
I hope to find a job related to what I am studying. This would be a dream.

What advice would you give to other students from Europe who want to study in the UK?
'Go ahead! It's worth it!'
I couldn't be happier with my experience as a student in the UK. I strongly believe that the English system is one of the most organised, competent and effective. To be honest, I admire the passion my teachers have for what they do and the enthusiasm/effort they put in every of their classes. It's awesome!

Marc Vila Terra, Media Communications (Erasmus+ undergraduate)

Why did you choose Bath Spa University?
I chose Bath Spa University because it is very advanced in technology and this is a major advantage for my studies, Media Communications. I wanted to go to an English university and this one covered what I was looking for. It is a beautiful university with amazing landscapes in the surroundings and it is far from traffic and urban stress.

What attracted you to the course?
I was attracted to the course by the studios, the media equipment and the teachers also attracted me. The majority of the teachers have worked in the sector, in the BBC or other reputable companies.  I was also told that Bath is a beautiful city so that was another reason to come here.

How would you describe Bath Spa University in three words?
I would describe Bath Spa University in three words as: University worth studying.

What are you hoping to do with your degree?
Once I have my degree, I hope to fend for myself and I would like to work in the TV or something related with media.
I would tell other students who want to study in the UK that if they are looking for a peaceful, beautiful and modern university, then Bath Spa is the place to be!
