MediaWall Exhibition

Thursday 11 May, 2017
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

MediaWall, Commons Atrium, Bath Spa University

This is the first event of Pasto Sensorial Project which wants to digitally recreate "The Blacks' and Whites' Carnival" (B&W Carnival) one of the masterpieces of the Intangible Heritage of the Humanity. This massive event takes place in San Juan de Pasto (Colombia), which is known as the "Surprise City".

Rainbow on the Asphalt wants to encourage you and all the BSU community to be involved in the experience of this festive Carnival and to express your thoughts through your artistic skills on the floor, same as people do in Colombia during the celebration of the first day of the Carnival. You can’t miss this opportunity to learn more about culture, history and to see the real images of what’s on other countries.

This project is result of the collaborative work between Karen Alonso and Camilo Villota students of MSc. Creative Technologies and Enterprise, and MA. Visual Communications at Bath Spa University during 2016/2017.
