Fine Art graduate shortlisted for prestigious arts prize

Thursday, 26 October, 2017

Bath Spa Fine Art graduate Kieran Naish is one of only ten artists shortlisted in the new London Evening Standard Art Prize.

For its first year the prize focused on new painting and asked artists to submit a work with the word London as their brief.

Kieran's entry View from the Tate Modern was one of over 200 entries, ranging from abstract images to political statements, from familiar views to hidden corners of the city.

The winner will be chosen from the final ten and announced at an event at the National Gallery on October 26. If he wins, Kieran will receive £10,000 cash, a year’s free Hiscox Fine Art Insurance and a lifetime National Art Pass.

Good luck Kieran!
