Centre for Creative Computing
The Centre for Creative Computing (CCC) aims to make computing serve human creativity better. Although it is based in the School of Humanities and Cultural Industries, its work is transdisciplinary and university-wide. It includes researchers from all the Schools of the University.
A typical CCC project will mix practice with theory and work across disciplines. It will seek to advance our understanding of the principles of creative computing, while at the same time developing some real examples. It will normally include a rapidly prototyped piece of software which is the result of a devised set of bespoke rules. In this way, users can see their ideas quickly realised. Users include both academic researchers and enterprise partners.
