Workshops

Bath School of Art and Design believes in providing the best opportunities for creative practice and has a wide range of specialist workshops and studios spaces.

There are workshops for preparing and making all types of processes and outcomes in plastics, ceramics, wood, metal, resin and textiles. There are darkrooms and an AV suite, plus a variety of studios for developing skills in digital media.

The facilities include workshops dedicated to silkscreen, etching and litho, and digital printing equipment, including in-house book publishing.

The school equipment list ranges from hand tools, high spec photographic cameras, to rare industrial specialist machinery, to large CAD equipment, such as laser cutters, vacuum formers, digital engravers, 3D printers, digital embroidery machinery and CNC routers.
