Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Welcome to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the School of Education at Bath Spa University.
All CPD exists within the broad framework of our Professional Master's Programme (PMP).
We are highly committed to Professional Development and offer a wide range of CPD opportunities for all those engaged in the field of education and training. We offer two stages of engagement in all our CPD opportunities:
Stage One (non-accredited): The active engagement in our CPD modules or projects, leading to a certificate of participation.
Stage Two (accredited): A submission of work to be formally assessed and accredited.
CPD Opportunities

Our Professional Master's Programme (PMP) provides flexible study arrangements allowing you to choose from a range of career-based accredited awards or longer programmes of study leading to Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma or Master's Degree qualifications.
We value the strong links that we have with local schools and Local Authorities (LAs). It is our policy to respond to their expressed needs to provide CPD in Partnership with Schools, LAs and Partner Colleges and have many ongoing projects.
We work with a large group of Affiliated Field Consultants to offer
bespoke School Based Consultancy and CPD. Areas of focus include:

Work-based Learning;
Coaching and
Mentoring; Early
Years and Childhood Studies and
Vulnerable Learners
and Inclusion
