School Leadership Development
At Bath Spa University we offer schools and Local Authorities a variety of CPD approaches to school leadership development.
- We provide a generic leadership programme, which can lead to the award
of 'Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Management'. This programme, aimed at current or aspiring
middle leaders, is based around 10 school-based workshop sessions which
are usually spread over a 6 month period. This programme can be adapted to
meet expressed needs of schools or Local Authorities.
- Colleagues who are following programmes offered by the National
College for School Leadership, may seek accreditation for their work.
Accreditation for work undertaken is at postgraduate level, and can
attract up to 60 credits or one third of a Masters degree.
- Opportunities are available to study leadership of schools and more integrated settings, as an individual within the part-time Professional Masters programme.
