Continuing Professional Development with Schools, Local Authorities (LAs) and Partner Colleges
We value the strong links that we have with local schools and LAs. It is our policy to respond to their expressed needs to provide CPD in Partnership with Schools and LAs and have many ongoing projects with Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
We are continually engaging with schools in new project areas to explore and expand educational horizons. CPD projects have included The Vibrant Schools Project and collaboration with the 5x5x5 = Creativity project.
We have developed a particular expertise in School-based Mentoring and Coaching and offer this as a CPD opportunity for teachers working with our Bath Spa Teachers.
Teachers in their first year of work are able to take part in 'Early Professional Practice' which supports and accredits work done in the NQT year.
