Welcome
The School of Education at Bath Spa University is one of the largest providers of education in the South West and has outstanding (Grade 1) Ofsted ratings for all three of its teacher education programmes: Primary, Secondary and Further Education. Our undergraduate Education Studies courses are exciting and innovative, preparing for teacher training or a range of other careers in schools and industry. The Early Years team offers Foundation Degrees and Honours Degrees. We provide a wide range of Masters Degrees and for teachers and other professionals. Our success derives from our excellent relationships with schools and many other organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. See here for the recent Ofsted report.
We are also one of the few institutions offering an Education Studies degree, an excellent preparation for a one-year PGCE or for entry to a range of other careers in education. We pride ourselves on taking an innovative approach to Education and run a range of research and development projects in collaboration with schools and local authorities across the region, helping them to develop and improve the education offered to children and young people.
