PGCE Secondary Programme

This route is for Bath Spa Teachers who are interested in working with the 11-16 age range with post 16 enhancement. It aims to support the development of Bath Spa Teachers professional practice through working with a community of highly skilled committed tutors and teachers.

The programme values its work with a community of highly skilled and committed tutors and teachers, committed to the learner. Together we support the development of new teachers and enhance the quality of the teaching profession. The programme also draws upon research and best practice to inform its curriculum.

During the year the Bath Spa Teacher will develop a strong professional identity, take responsibility for their own continuing professional development and be very well prepared to embark on a most rewarding career.
