Partnership with Primary Schools and Early Years Settings
Welcome to the Partnership with Primary Schools and Early Years Settings website which has been developed to support the partnership between the Primary Education Department at Bath Spa University and schools who offer, or would like to offer, teaching experience placements to our PGCE Bath Spa Teachers.
Primary schools are involved with us in the training of teachers for the 3-7, 7-11 and 5-11 age ranges.
On these pages you will find information about our course structures and dates. There are pages relating to Mentor CPD where forms and sheets required by Mentors during the school phase can be downloaded.
Bath Spa University also offers a wide range of specific in-service courses and postgraduate qualifications to all qualified school teachers and trainers. Many of these courses are fully recognised by the TDA/DfES and can be used as part of a Professional Development Programme, as evidence for application to the DfES for the Threshold Career Enhancement Grade.
