CEIT - Research Strategy

Over the next 4 years the Centre for Educational Innovation and Technology aims to achieve the following goals:

  1. Develop existing and future capacity towards Postgraduate Research (PGR) and Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students within its membership. The current membership includes 5 registered research students of which 3 contribute towards PGT.
  2. Bid for substantive research and development projects, e.g. the recent cyberbullying project proposal.
  3. Increase the potential for commercial scholarships to support postgraduate taught and research students, particularly those following the relevant awards offered with the Professional Masters Programme, e.g. Learning and Knowledge Technology, Critical and Creative Thinking.
  4. Attract and appoint leading academics and researchers from the field with the result of generating and increasing the CEIT's research capacity, output and perceived external vibrancy.
