CRAE Research Focus

Members of CRAE are an inter-disciplinary team drawn from the School of Education as well as from Arts-based Schools within Bath Spa University; Associates will be collaborators from a range of contexts - educational, cultural and institutional. Research projects reflect this wide-ranging focus, creating links with galleries, theatres and performance venues, schools, colleges and other community settings, as well as with artists, educators and participants across the full spectrum of age, ability and socio-cultural background.

The central ethos of CRAE is a commitment to extending opportunities for cultural participation for participants across a diversity of circumstances. CRAE Members combine an active engagement with their own arts discipline, with a passion for communicating and disseminating it through a variety of educational strategies.
