Study of Religions: Courses, Conference and Other Religious Studies Links

Members of our Department regularly give papers at national and international conferences.

All of our staff are members of different organisations connected with Religious Studies and Religious Education, notably the British Association for the Study of Religion, the American Academy of Religion, and several other Associations specialising in particular areas.

PRS-LTSN

The Philosophical and Religious Studies Subject Centre (PRS-LTSN) is hosted by the University of Leeds, in partnership with the University of Wales, Lampeter, which is responsible for open and distance learning, and widening access.

They are at the heart of a change in academic culture, so that it becomes accepted professional practice to confer and publish about teaching. Their emphasis is on stimulating and facilitating educational research by the subject communities we serve, Philosophy, History of Science, Philosophy of Science, Theology and Religious Studies.
