Quality Assurance Processes - Annual Reporting
Introduction
At AQSC in December 2008 the committee approved an integrated monitoring and planning process. This resulted in a revision to the University's existing annual monitoring policy and process to allow for greater responsiveness, through ensuring that the annual monitoring system is:
- predictive
- integrated with planning
- able to inform further activity where required
In addition, the revised annual monitoring policy will utilise an annual thematic approach, ensuring that the University's quality assurance systems directly inform and develop its quality enhancement agenda. .
In practical terms, subject level annual monitoring reports should be considered at School Boards in November/December. After consideration at School Board, one School level report should be compiled by each School for submission to AQSC in December.
