Periodic Review
Each academic subject unit is subject to periodic review every 6 years. The review normally lasts 1-3 days, depending on the size of the provision to be reviewed and is conducted by a panel consisting of members both internal and external to the University. In December 2009, AQSC approved a revised periodic review process.
Following revisions made to the Undergraduate Modular Scheme, all subjects within the Scheme were reapproved at one day reapproval events between February and May 2009.
Examples of self-evaluation documents can be found here: Music (November 2010) / Business & Management (April 2011).
Nomination forms for external panel members can be found on the quality and standards A-Z page, please go to 'External panel member'.
