Course Transcripts, References and Confirming an Award

There may be occasions when you need a reference or validation of your award. The institution can provide confirmation of your award and academic statements only. There is a charge for this service as detailed breakdowns of academic study can be time-consuming and costly to produce.

Should you need verification of your academic studies, requests should be directed to the Graduation & Alumni Office; address listed at the bottom of this page.

For Current Students; a course transcript will be issued with your award certificate. If you need a transcript before your studies have finished, please visit the Student Administration Service in Main House, Newton Park, or email mycourse@bathspa.ac.uk or telephone +44 (0)1225 876115

Charges:

Should you need to obtain a course transcript, replacement certificate or course breakdown, the current charges are as follows:

• Replacement Certificate:
  • Produced on award certificate paper, embossed with University stamp £45.00
• Certified Copy Certificate:
  • As above, but bearing the words "Certified Copy" £25.00
  • Additional copies (ordered at the same time) £5.00 per copy

• Confirmation of Award:
  • Statement of the award obtained, the dates attended, duration of course, awarding body £15.00
  • Additional copies (ordered at the same time) £5.00 per copy
• Course Transcript:
  • As above, plus breakdown of marks and grades as available £20.00
  • Additional copies (ordered at the same time) £5.00 per copy
• Course Breakdown:
  • As above, with the addition of descriptions of each unit/module studied £45.00
  • Additional copies (ordered at the same time) £10.00 per copy

Personal References:

If you need a personal reference, you must make arrangements for a prospective employer or other interested party to make contact with a named member of staff who has agreed to act for you in this capacity.  Any requests for personal references addressed generally (i.e. to the Director, Principal, Registrar etc.) will be returned to the prospective employers uncompleted.
