National Framework Agreement on Pay Modernisation
A brief summary
A new national Framework Agreement for new grading structures and pay modernisation has been drawn up and agreed nationally with all HE Unions and HE employers. The Frameworks key principals require all institutions within the HE sector to:
- Introduce a single pay spine covering all staff groups.
- Introduce a scheme for evaluating jobs.
- Review its pay and grading structures.
- Harmonise hours for all staff.
