Jessica Muir

BA Specialised music 2004-2007.

Worked for International House and Bath Spa University Marketing Dept.

During her 3 summer vacations Jessica  worked as an Activity Assistant at International House Bath, an English Language school for foreign teenagers. The work involved implementing the pre-organised programme of sports, visits and excursions, encouraging the students to take part in activities to maximise their enjoyment. The role was a responsible one, Jessica needed to show that she was well-organised, reliable and approachable. This experience has helped her to develop her self confidence and to be able to engage with both the teenagers and their teachers.

Working for BSU as a Student Ambassador has also been useful experience. She has developed her presentation skills along with her people skills. Jess's long term goal is to be a Music Therapist.
