RILM Music Literature

RILM is provided by Repertoire International de Litterature Musicale, New York. There are over 275,000 records in the database containing full bibliographic information, and abstracts in English, as well as author, journal, and in-depth subject indexes.

Books, bibliographies, catalogues, conference proceedings, discographies, dissertations, films, videos as well as over 500 scholarly journals are represented. Over 20,000 new records are added each year.

This database does not provide full text although it does contain abstracts. You will need to check the Library catalogue and/or the journals web pages to find out whether a particular book or journal is held. If not, you may want to apply via interlibrary loans for a copy.
