Photocopying
All photocopying in the Libraries is undertaken within the terms of various Acts and agreements. The terms and conditions are posted by the photocopiers. The machines are maintained under contract: if you have a problem, suspect a fault with a photocopier or it runs out of paper, inform a member of library staff at once but do not try to rectify the fault yourself.
Photocopy cards
All photocopiers in the Libraries use rechargeable cards which are available from the vending machines by the photocopiers at a cost of ?2 which includes 75p credit. An A4 black and white copy costs 5p, an A3 black and white copy is 10p. Colour copies are 35p for A4 and 70p for A3. Double-sided copies cost twice the single copies.
Cards can be recharged in multiples of 50p or £1. Please note that the machines require the exact money in coins and no change is given.
OHTs
If you want to copy onto an OHT, you must ensure that you have the correct type of transparency before using the copier or you will cause serious damage to the machine. Always ask a member of library staff for assistance before making OHTs.
