What do I do now? A guide for undergraduates

Over the summer

Do take a look at our checklist which might give you some ideas about what you  need to put in place and think about during the summer.

When you have your results

If you applied via UCAS and have received a conditional offer from us and are currently studying A Levels or a BTEC qualification, your results will be sent directly to us when they are released. If you are studying towards a different qualification, or applied directly to us, please send us a copy of your results. You can send these by fax (marked 'Admissions') to 01225 875444 or scan and email them to admissions@bathspa.ac.uk

When you receive your A level or BTEC results, if they meet our offer requirements, then you will be notified that we have confirmed your place either via UCAS track if you have chosen this option, or via letter from UCAS. If you have applied directly to us you will receive confirmation by letter. You do not need to call us to confirm your place. You will then receive details of your Joining Instructions in late August/early September. Please ensure that the email address you provided on your application is correct as our correspondence to you throughout the summer will be via email.

If your results were not what you were expecting and do not meet our offer requirements, please check the UCAS track system to see if there is a decision on there. If there is no decision as yet, please call us on 01225 875875 to see if we are still able offer you a place.

Please be aware that we may be missing results for you as we will expect to get results for all of the 'yet to be completed' courses listed on your UCAS application, if they are included in our offer to you, so please be ready to send them to us if we request them!

If you have applied for year 2 or 3 entry and are already a BSU student, we will receive notification of your results internally, so you don't need to worry about informing us. If you are an external applicant for year 2 or 3 entry, please ensure that you send proof of your results to admissions@bathspa.ac.uk

Our terms and conditions will be available for you to view shortly - please ensure that you check back regularly so that you are able to read them in plenty of time before you are asked to agree to them at the start of the year.

Joining Instructions

Online Joining Instructions will be available on the Bath Spa University website in late August/early September and you will receive an email with directions about this. These will provide you with full details regarding your registration at Bath Spa University, will specify where you need to be and when on your first day, as well as how to pay for your accommodation and your course.
