The Costs - Tuition Fees
UK and EU Residents
The annual tuition fee for full-time undergraduate courses (degree, diploma of higher education, and foundation degree) at Bath Spa University is £3,290 in 2010. You will not have to pay your fees before starting university or whilst you are studying. Instead, you will be able to apply for a Student Loan for Fees to cover these costs. The fees will be paid direct to the University on your behalf. You will repay the loan once you have graduated and are earning more than £15,000 per year.
The £3,290 tuition fee also applies to students on Bath Spa University courses based at partner FE colleges.
Bath Spa University offers bursaries and scholarships to help students with their education costs.
Please note that a UK/EU resident is someone who is ordinarily resident in one of these countries. The period of residence required is three years prior to the start of your university course. If you are living in the EU under any restriction, for example, if you only have limited leave to remain, or if you have been in the EU only for the purposes of education, you are unlikely to be eligible for Home/EU tuition fees. If you are in any doubt about your status you can contact our Department for International Activities for clarification: (01225) 875577 or email: international-enquiries@bathspa.ac.uk.
Non-UK and Non-EU Residents
If you are not a UK/EU resident you must pay the full amount of your fees (between £7,375 and £9,050 2009/10 figures). Some governments will consider paying all or part of the fees. Contact our Department for International Activities for more information.
