Getting Money - Earning Money From Jobs
Many students have to work while they are studying, and the essential factor is to maintain a balance between studying and work commitments. We recommend that students do not work more than 15 hours per week. The Bath Spa University JobShop works with students to find jobs that will fit in with study commitments, and has excellent links with many local employers.
If you had a weekend or evening job before you started university you may be able to continue it, either with the same employer if you are living locally, or through a branch network if you have moved away.
In addition, most students will work during their vacations - not only for the financial benefits, but also to improve their CV and core skills that will make you more employable in the graduate job market.
