Care Leavers
At Bath Spa University we want you to get the best out of your course and University experience.
Additional support is available to help you through your time at Bath Spa University if you are a care leaver and are studying a full-time course. This support also applies to students studying Bath Spa University courses at Partnership Colleges.
Who is entitled to extra help?
To be eligible for additional help you usually need to be under the age of 25 and have been in Local Authority Care for three months or more since the age of 14.
You will also be permanently resident in the United Kingdom and will be a 'home' student for tuition fee purposes. Any student who is not a 'home' student is welcome to contact us to discuss any support needs they might have.

If you disclosed on UCAS you are a care leaver, we will send you an application form. If you did not disclose and think you may be eligible, please contact Student Support.
The bursary will be paid in three instalments; December, March and May.
