Our nursery team

Nursery practitioners at Oak Tree Day Nursery are dedicated to providing a stimulating, bright, caring environment for children to grow and learn in.

All practitioners have the experience and/or qualification suitable to their role and duties. All practitioners at the Nursery hold a full and relevant childcare qualification and hold a valid first aid certificate.

Practitioners are recently trained in the following areas:

  • 2 practitioners are Forest School trained to level 3 and the remaining practitioners to level 1.

Managers ensure that practitioners are kept up to date with childcare practices by producing annual training and development plans. In recognition to the Nursery's commitment to staff training and development the Nursery was awarded the Investors in people award in October 2002.
