Our laboratory suite provides specialist facilities for a wide range of earth and environmental science applications, including the analysis of soil, water and microfossils.
The Newton Park campus is an excellent natural resource right on your doorstep, which you will use extensively in your practical work. To aid in your discovery of the field, we will provide you with live instrumentation networks, which will help you monitor hydro-meteorological conditions on Newton Park's variety of landscapes, as well as water flows in the local stream.
You will have the use of up to date geotechnology equipment for survey applications, as well as the ability to make use of our total stations, terrestrial laser scanner, UAVs, and dGPS.
We also have a suite of equipment for environmental monitoring, river modelling, the analysis of quaternary environments, and social science surveys. All of our equipment is backed up by industry standard software, and you will recieve full support from our experienced and enthusiastic staff.
