What to expect

Generally our open days run from 9.30am-4pm; you're welcome to participate in as much or as little of the day as you wish. We'll send you a programme two weeks prior to the event.

  • Find out about your course

You’ll be able to speak to the staff and students of the course you're thinking of studying. You can also attend a talk specific to the subject you're interested in. Some courses offer you the chance to take part in a workshop or visit specialist off-site facilities.

  • Campus tours

Our student ambassadors will be on hand to offer you a guided tour. As current students, they can answer your questions about what being at Bath Spa University is like. Our Newton Park open days also have guided city coach tours which will allow you to explore the beautiful city of Bath.

  • Talks

During the day there will be a series of talks that provide key information about accommodation, jobs, finance, fees and much more. Staff representing services such as finance, accommodation and student support will be available to answer any questions you may have relating to being a student at Bath Spa University.

  • Accommodation

You’ll have the opportunity to find out more about the various accommodation options available to you, including our halls and independent housing.

  • Travel

We've teamed up with Great Western Rail (GWR) to offer visitors to our Open Days and Applicant Visit Days a discounted ticket when you travel by train.

  • What's on

Check out our programme for our upcoming Open Day at Sion Hill on 8 June.
