Our facilities

Our facilities

Specialist facilities and period charm

Our campuses combine purpose-built facilities with breathtaking locations. Main campuses Newton Park, Locksbrook Campus and Sion Hill are situated in the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath, as are our theatre workshops at Oldfield Park. We also have a campus located in the pretty market town of Corsham, three miles west of Chippenham in Wiltshire, where many of our postgraduate courses are based.

Newton Park

Newton Park is an exceptional place to study and live. Only four miles from Bath, the campus has its very own nature reserve, woods, historic listed buildings and rolling fields. At the busy heart of the campus is our ultra-modern academic building, Commons. There’s an outdoor amphitheatre, library and theatre. Newton Park is also home to our award-winning Students’ Union.

Locksbrook Campus

Our brand new state-of-the-art campus is truly stunning. This restored open-plan building provides space to be ambitious and space to reflect. Technical workshops for techniques such as printmaking and metalwork are surrounded by flexible, naturally-lit studio spaces; there’s a permanent gallery, café, open social areas and a rooftop pavilion for reflection and collaboration.

Sion Hill

Sion Hill offers specialist facilities for a range of our design courses. Along with bright, open studio spaces, there’s an art and design library, café, and specialist workshops where you can explore digital and traditional processes in textile print, embroidery, laser cut and knit. The campus is well known for its buzzing creative atmosphere and friendly community feel.

Corsham Court

Many of our postgraduate students study at Corsham Court, which is situated in historic Corsham, just ten miles from Bath. This sixteenth-century building – complete with stunning grounds and peacocks – has plenty of period drama and charm. On-campus you'll find a library, specialist facilities for music and textiles, an art gallery, postgraduate common rooms and quiet study areas.

New locations and facilities to help you reach your full potential

Constantly evolving, never static, and always with an eye on industry developments – our teaching sites and facilities are updated regularly. We put feedback from current students into practice when we make changes and additions, so that incoming students can benefit from our existing students' experiences.

"The course gave me the foundations I needed to step in to the industry with confidence."

– Luke Taylor, BA (Hons) Creative Media
