This is your opportunity to learn how to compose and print Letterpress in a well-equipped studio. Bath Spa has a good collection of metal and wood types, two proofing presses, and a huge Columbian press for you to begin your creations. Come with any ideas you might have and be ready to experiment!

About your tutor
Penny Grist is an artist printmaker with over 30 years' experience of teaching and running workshops. She teaches printmaking on the BA (Hons) Graphic Communication course at Bath Spa University. Her first degree was in Fine Art (painting) followed by a Printmaking Diploma and an MA in Interactive Multimedia.
What you'll do
You'll learn to compose and print letterpress in a well-equipped studio, using metal and wood type and a variety of presses. You'll have the opportunity to develop your ideas and experiment with new ones.
The course will take place at our Etching workshop, Locksbrook Campus, Bath.
The fee for this programme is £80 inclusive of materials.
What to bring
Please wear old clothing and closed footwear (no open sandals).
