Clay is a wonderfully malleable material, full of possibilities for creating intriguing objects and tactile textures. In this introductory workshop, we’ll explore the 3D possibilities and the 2D surface.
Working through a range of hand-building techniques including pinching, coiling, slab building and sculpture, we’ll also explore combining various types of clay and building techniques.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities, and is delivered by experienced clay artist and educator, Claire Loder, at Bath School of Art and Design in central Bath.

The fee for the programme in 2018 was £60 inclusive of materials.
What to bring
Please wear old clothing and closed footwear (no open sandals), and if you have long hair, this must be tied back for safety reasons.
You can bring your own lunch, or eat at Café Sion. Light refreshments are provided.
