Clay Time: An Introduction to Ceramics

Short course

Develop your skills through flexible projects on our ten-week Ceramics evening class.

    • Learn the basics of ceramics in this evening class at our superb art studios in central Bath.
    • Work with Dr Kate Wilson, experienced ceramicist and Associate Lecturer at Bath School of Art and Design.
    • Develop your skills through projects that are flexible and can facilitate your individual response to each process.

Discover the basics of hand building techniques, a variety of surface decoration methods and basic glaze technology.

Over the ten weekly sessions, you'll develop your skills through flexible projects. You'll work at your own pace, determining your own projects depending on how involved you wish to become with each process.

As the course progresses, you'll learn through a mixture of group demonstrations and individual teaching.

Workshop time and dates: 7-9pm on Thursday evenings starting 10 January 2019 for ten weeks (excluding 7 February, ends 21 March)
