Walk-and-talk around Fairfield House

Dr Shawn Sobers is an Associate Professor of Cultural Interdisciplinary Practice at UWE, and a Trustee of Fairfield House. Shawn therefore has an intimate knowledge of the history of Fairfield House in Bath, Haile Selassie, and its relationship with Black people in Bath. Shawn’s video is a walk-and-talk around Fairfield House, describing the history of the House, some of the projects that have happened there, and what the space is used for now. Fairfield House has played a really important role in the history of Bath, and so this is a really interesting video.
