Sion Hill Gallery, Bath School of Art and Design

The fifth annual Bath Spa Porthleven Prize exhibition, 'Source', opens on 29 November with a Private View at Sion Hill Gallery from 6.00 - 8.00pm.

Source presents the work of seven students who each were awarded a fully-funded artist residency at the Old Lifeboat House art studio in Porthleven, Cornwall, which they undertook in May 2017 as part of the Bath Spa Porthleven Prize. This year's exhibition includes work by Prize winners Sally Bennett, Jusefa Charlamow, Holly Early, Martin Humphries, Kate McDonnell, Koji Tsukada and Katarzyna Wagner.

The Bath Spa Porthleven Prize is an opportunity for Bath Spa students to take part in a fully-funded ten day residency based in the Cornish Studio. Whilst there, the students work together to produce a body of work in any discipline they choose, including film, sound, sculpture, and visual art.

The exhibition will remain at the Sion Hill Gallery until 11 January 2018 and is open to the public from 9.00am - 5.30pm.
