Second year BA (Hons) Textile Design students are staying UpLate at the Holburne on Friday 30 November, showcasing textile designs they have created in response to collections at the Holburne Museum, and sharing insights into their making processes.
Our students will reveal the processes behind their beautiful textiles, from initial sketching at the museum through to the finished textile samples, while also giving guided tours and demonstrations of weaving, knitting and printing.
Visitors will also be able to see and handle printed, knitted, embroidered and woven samples, leaf through sketchbooks, and have the opportunity to sketch and print their own tote bag. All ages are welcome.
This special event is for one evening only, and features displays, drinks and DJ sets.
