I am a Technical Demonstrator in the College of Liberal Arts specialising in live sound reinforcement and studio engineering.
My primary job roles involve designing and delivering technical demonstrations and workshops as well as maintaining technical facilities in conjunction with the other members of the College of Liberal Arts' technical team.
My current work in the music industry ties in neatly with work within Bath Spa University, which enables me to tailor any demonstrations or workshops to current industry working practice.
This background stems from tour managing and engineering touring bands. Since working as Mount Kimbie’s monitor engineer in 2014 and Roots Manuva’s monitor engineer for the 2015 and 2016 tours I have tour managed and engineered Foxtrott, K.Flay and Skinny Living, engineered Catfish and The Bottlemen, as well as mixed the string section of Philip Glass’ Heroes Symphony conducted by Charles Hazlewood at Glastonbury Festival. I am currently Asian Dub Foundation’s Tour Manager.
