Emma Lazenby has worked in the animation industry since 1998 in Scotland, London and Bristol working as an animator, designer, art director and animation director. She has worked on adverts, short films and TV series for BBC, Channel 4, Aardman and Disney. She has also worked extensively on community-based projects and workshops with both children and adults.
After winning a BAFTA for a film about childbirth in 2010, Emma started ForMed Films, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. They make animated films in collaboration with patients, charities and health professionals to help people talk about and understand medical and health issues. Emma has also contributed as a visiting lecturer at a number of universities.
