Richard Clarke

Personal statement

For thirty years, Richard has worked in the retail and consumer industries; roles have included management consulting, strategic planning, commercial management, business change and IT.

He's currently Executive Director for Global Retail Business at Fujitsu, one of the world’s largest technology companies, delivering IT solutions and services to customers in over 100 countries. Richard is responsible for growing Fujitsu’s $1.7bn retail business globally, covering strategy, products and services, sales, and business development with Fujitsu’s largest customers in all regions of the world.

Prior to Fujitsu, Richard has held senior positions in Accenture, KPMG and WH Smith.

Richard was born and now lives in Bristol with his wife and family. He is very familiar with the UCAS process as he has three children at or shortly going to university.

Richard has an MA in Ancient and Modern History from Christ Church, Oxford.
