Richy Cook

Personal statement

Richy joined the School of Education as Award Leader and Senior Lecturer in 2022. He has had a career in education spanning twenty years and has experience in primary, secondary and HE phases.

Richy has a background in computing and technology and his research interests lie in how people interact with and adapt to digital technologies, particularly devices and platforms with artificial intelligence.

Richy is an ethnographer and qualitative researcher with expertise in research methods and methodologies. His PhD was an ethnographic study that explored the use of voice assistant technologies in the classroom.
