Personal statement

I work with video, text, digital imagery and live presentation to explore the various states of mind through which we experience and understand the world around us. From the distraction of the motorway driver – ‘Beautiful Place’, to the concentrated descriptions of city streets – ‘Inter.’

Often I work collaboratively, with a composer to produce extended ‘concert’ events, or with other artists on community or cultural exchange projects. Currently I am working with an architect on a film about the recently destroyed areas of Bucharest, and preparing a paper on visual/literary description for publication and for presentation at conferences.
