Course studied: BA (Hons) Theatre and Digital Production
Graduating year: 2018

I am currently freelancing in scenic art, costume and props in and around London for the Theatre and Events industry. I paint the sets for a variety of theatres, including Brick Lane Music Hall and Farrer Theatre at Eton College, and I also complete numerous paint calls on new and upcoming shows in the Westend with the company Gemstage.

Alongside painting, I also make mascot heads at Rainbow Productions which have been sent to events all over the world, such as China, Wales and the Olympic Stadium in London.

Why did you choose to study Theatre Production at Bath Spa?

I definitely knew that I wanted a creative career and I loved the fact that this course gave the opportunity to study all aspects of Theatre.

What are the highlights of your career so far?

The fact that every week for me is different and I am continuously meeting and learning from new people.

How did the course support your steps into industry?

It allowed me to study a wide range of departments so that I could decide which I enjoyed most and what path would be best for me. Being fully immersed in creating shows and working alongside lecturers with years of industry experience gave me the knowledge that I needed to pursue my career.
