Course: MA Fine Art
My interests revolve around interconnections from micro to macro, nature’s cyclical persistence, energy and transformation.
Environmental concerns are important to me. My use of reclaimed and discarded materials relates to the issue of waste, utilising and giving them a new life. It belongs to a wider subject of our relationship with matter, nature, and ourselves.
Materiality and process are central to my practice. I weave drawings in space, treating line as object – hybrids that extend line from plane as 3d form, blurring boundaries between sculpture, drawing and installation. The outcome is fluid, in a state of becoming.
