Commonwealth Shared Scholarship
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is a joint initiative between the Department for International Development's Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and UK universities. Its aim is to provide scholarships for high achieving students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK.
One award is available.
Bath Spa University is offering one scholarship to an applicant to:
MSc Environmenal Management
Our College of Liberal Arts offers flexibility across a range of social sciences. MSc Environmental Management gives students the opportunity to study from an environmental science, biodiversity and/or business management focus.
The successful award winner of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship will benefit from the following (please note that some of these costs may be paid initially by the award winner and refunded by Bath Spa University):
- Monthly stipend
- Warm clothing allowance
- Tuition fees paid
- Flight to the UK
- Baggage allowance to the UK
- TB test
- Flight home (subject to cost restrictions)
- Baggage allowance home
- Travel allowance
- Thesis allowance
Applications are open for candidates who meet the requirements of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.

How to apply
1. Apply for the programme of study. You must first apply for the selected Master's programme at Bath Spa University. This is to ensure that you are eligible for entry onto the chosen course. If eligible you will be sent a conditional offer of admission by email.
You must meet all the academic conditions of offer by the scholarships deadline to be considered for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. This includes submission of certificates, transcripts, English Language requirement, passport copy etc.
2. Apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. Once you have received an offer letter to your chosen programme of study, then apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship.
Please note: any applications through the EAS system that does not hold an offer of admission will be automatically rejected.

The applications are reviewed in the month after the deadline by the School of Education at Bath Spa University.
